How exactly does the telemedicine work?


  • The telemedicine service works mainly over the internet. Your Consultation Form is a major contributor in arriving at a diagnosis.
  • There will invariably be a video conferencing using a web-cam over the internet through one of the Internet Messenger services and/or a telephone call by the Doctor. This will help in closing the information gap and gather more details about you.
  • Once the treatment strategy has been decided medicine is shipped to the patient. This will be in the either in the form of sealed pharmaceutical blisters or bottles as a small kit.
  • The blister packaging ensures that the medicated blisters remain untouched and pure. The blister packaging is convenient to carry and tamper-proof.
  • This kit contains most of the medicines that the patient might need to deal with emergencies or specific conditions that may arise during the course of the treatment - like pain, bleeding, etc.
  • As soon as the patient receives the medicines, instructions for using the same are provided by email. Any further clarifications can be obtained by the patient through email.
  • The response time is usually 24 - 48 hours. However, medicines may take 3 - 4 days depending on the distances involved, especially for overseas patients.

What is the process for telemedicine registration?


The registration process for telemedicine is very simple. You need to fill in the Consultation Form and pay the required fee. Click here to fill the Consultation Form. Once we receive the filled form and the fee, we will create a case file for you in our database.

What is the telemedicine consultation fee?


Please note that the Shipping Charges vary for various countries depending on the distances involved and the courier agencies. We ship through reputed couriers to ensure safe and speedy delivery of medicines.

How will I receive my medicines after tele-consultation?


The medicines will either be posted through EMS Speed Post service from India as other private courier services from India do not accept medicine shipment packages due to legal restrictions imposed by various countries worldwide. The shipment details will be mailed to you along with the Tracking Details so that you can keep tab of the shipment during its transit time.

What are the payment terms and conditions for telemedicine consultation?


The payment should be made in full at the time of registration for the package opted by you. Payment once made is non-refundable. If you do not wish to use your credit card or do not have a PayPal account, please specify the preferred mode of money transfer during case taking so that necessary details like Bank RTGS/NEFT IFSC Code No, SWIFT Code, Account no., Fedwire ABA No. etc. of the banks involved can be intimated to you beforehand. This will ensure a smooth and safe transfer of funds to our account.

What are the various payment methods available?


We only accept online credit card or debit card payments. You can pay online using the secure PayPal gateway. Once you fill the consultation form you will be taken to the payment page to finish your registration.

On the payment page, choose the payment button, based on your choice of package to make your payment.

For patients residing in India, in addition to the above option we also offer the facility to send a local cheque, demand draft, or make money transfer to HDFC bank.

Does the online consultation fee include the cost of medicines and the shipping charges?


Yes, the consultation fee includes the cost of medicines. The One Time Consultation plan includes the cost of medicines for one month. All other plans are inclusive of medicines for the entire duration of the plan. However, the shipping and packaging charges will have to be borne by the patients.

What do I do if I run out of my medicines and how can I re-order for the medicines?


The medicine kit will be provided for a specific duration of time in sealed blisters in measured doses. The chances of running out of medicines will thus not happen. However, in case, the medicines are lost, damaged within the plan period and a refill is required, the patient will have to bear the cost of shipping of medicines. We do not charge our patients for refills, if they are within the plan period. However, in case you want to continue with the treatment in the normal course, you are requested to consult our doctors beforehand through Skype or telephone and then the medicines will be dispatched to you as usual.
